Driving home last evening from camping in the mountains during the holiday weekend, as I drove along a back country road to drop a friend off at their home, I passed a quirky cottage with manikins dumped in the yard by a beat-up pick-up truck. It was just too provocative to pass by without stopping to shoot a few pics. The husband and wife who own the home bought the old manikins for their son who is in the military. He uses these manikins to dress them up in military garb. The plastic, partial bodies strewn on a pile made for interesting shapes in tone and form.
You just never know when an interesting shot will present itself.
